QBudget: News

QB3 IS FINALLY COMING:

Yes, it's been a long wait, but we are finally able to announce that the new version of QBudget, "QB3", is almost ready for release.

As of April 2009, this new version of QB3 is finally nearing completion. The whole "calculation engine" is done, we're putting the finishing touches to the print and all-new email options and then we're done.

Watch this page for more details.

Tech stuff: QB3 is built using Java and runs its own internal database. Very few computers these days, whether Mac, Windows or Linux, don't have Java installed by default, and for those that don't, it's a simple - free - download from Sun. This means that QB3 will be completely cross-platform, and can be shared by people using different systems with no complexity at all. Building this has meant throwing all the existing work away and building this totally new version "from scartch" - which perhaps starts to explain why it's taken so long. But QB3 will be worth the wait...

We'll be uploading some screen shots of the all new QVB3 here very soon...

Multiple copies...

We decided to adjust the pricing of QBudget with the release of QB3. In fact we've adopted the new scheme already, so if you buy now you won't be penalised!

Essentially the new price plans reward sites with lots of copies and helps those with laptops as well as desktops. This makes sense as we want everyone to enjoy QBudget!

There are discounts available for purchases of additional copies and also for the annual subscriptions.

So if you're already a user of QBudget and are looking to buy more copies please contact us first.
